When you put Apple cider vinegar mixed with water in your hair do you wash it with shampoo first or after?

The acid in vinegar washes away styling products that can cling to hair despite shampooing so I would use the vinegar mix after shampooing. Since the acid in vinegar closes the cuticle of each hair strand, your hair will be shinier but flatter. In other words, you will be trading a little less fullness for a little more gloss. I heard that you shampoo first, skip the conditioner, then apply the vinegar mixture. The vinegar mixture is supposedly what conditions your hair.
