You will need some vinegar and washing soda. Create a chemical reaction by adding a few drops of vinegar to a spoonful of washing soda in a saucer. What do you observe? Record your observation giving reason. What is left in the saucer?Reaction between Vinegar and Washing soda?
vinegar : acetic acid CH3COOH

washing soda : NaHCO3

CH3COOH + NaHCO3 -%26gt; CH3COONa + CO2 +H2O

there will be a solid (the acetic salt) and water, carbon dioxyde will have escaped if it is not in a closed containerReaction between Vinegar and Washing soda?
Vinegar is acetic acid whilst washing soda has bicarbonate in it (an amphoteric substance. . . . as for the observations etc - don't be so BL00DY lazy and do your homework yourself
The result of combining vinegar and baking soda will be the creation of water.
washing soda will neutralize the vinegar
vinegar is acetic acid whose chemical formula is ch3cooh

and washing sodais na2co3

2ch3cooh+na2co3=2ch3coona+co2+h2o
