Most shampoos are basic, why do women rinse their hair with vinegar after washing it?

Rinsing your hair with vinegar after shampooing leaves it shining.

Take 1 cup of vinegar and warm water into a

large glass and use to rinse your hair after

you shampoo. Vinegar adds highlights to brunette

hair, restores the acid mantel, and removes

soap film and sebum oil.

I don't use a rinse after I rinse.

Vinegar is supposed to make it shiny (or shinier), but I have shiny hair anyway. Most shampoos are basic, why do women rinse their hair with vinegar after washing it?
Is that what she told you?
