Does washing your hair with vinegar help remove dandruff?

as kids our mom would use vinegar to rinse our hair of dandruff, but im not sure it worked, i mean we never did have dandruff, but im not sure if that had anything to do with it.

ever heard of this old ';wife's remedy';?

does it work?Does washing your hair with vinegar help remove dandruff?
after taking head bath, finally use a cap of venigar to a full mug of water and wet your hair and then wrap a towel around ur hair. i dont really know whether it works for the dandruff removal but with my experience i can tell that the hair becomes more and more softer with this practice.Does washing your hair with vinegar help remove dandruff?
